Pervis Major is a native West Virginian. He grew up in Morgantown WV and attended college and graduate school at Wheeling Jesuit in Wheeling WV.

He spent nearly 25yrs living in Washington DC working in th hospitality and information technology industries.

in 2005, Pervis and his young family exchanged the busy lifestyle of the metro area for a slower paced life on a 300 acre farm retreat in Southern WV.

Pervis owns and operates the Confluence Resort and has been providing weddings and event services on his family farm for 11 years or hundreds of events.
